Lion A. BADAL Eye Hospital ,Goran’initially organized and financed by Globex Marketing Company Ltd. and  with the co-operation of Lions Club of Dhaka Premier /Prime . Established in 1st July,2001 under the great leadership of Ln.Amanullah Badal PMJF in the rental house at E-163,South Banasree, Eastern Housing Goran Project, Dhaka. Now the hospital has been being run with the co-operation of Lions Club of Dhaka Premier only. The vision of the hospital is for removing the blindness from the  society for the welfare of the helpless peoples of the country.

The mission of the hospital is to help the poor, distressed & helpless peoples whose are going to the blind in lack of proper treatment of eye.

Within the couple of years, the hospital has been running with a promise to rendering quality service towards the patients giving treatment by the specialized Doctors and Surgeons with well-equipped and sophisticated latest Instrument providing better service facilities in the ophthalmic field.

LEGAL POSITION :

The hospital is a non-profit charity organization which stands under the agreement of Globex Marketing Company Ltd. and with the co-operation of Lions Club of Dhaka Premier/Prime.

The hospital has been governed by the 11 (eleven) members Executive committee under the supervision of the Chairman of the executive committee. Ln.Mr.Amanullah Badal is the chairman of the above executive committee for his lifetime as the founder of the hospital until resign from his post willingly.

 

OBJECTIVES

“WE SERVE TO SEE AND ENJOY THE BEUTIFULL WORLD”

Every people have inborn right to see and enjoy the beautiful earth. But some peoples are deceived by unbalanced society and natural whims unfortunately.  They couldnt get four basic needs in their life. Our objective is to engage the fortunate peoples for unfortunate group to ensure and fulfill one basic need (Health) out of four. Our objectives has divided into two steps:

  1. Firstly, to remove blindness from the society and
  1. Secondly, to ensure basic health needs for the deprived and unfortunate peoples of the society and
  2. Finally, work together for developing the worst health service in the country.

 

GOALS:

PROVIDE THE BASIC HEALTH NEEDS TO THE DEPRIVED PEOPLES OF THE SOCIETY.

 

SERVICE PLAN :

Our services divided into to parts. One for the fortunate peoples and another for unfortunate peoples with charge and free respectively. We are providing the following services:

  • Medicine
  • Surgery
  • Diagnosis
  • Hospital accommodation

 

Our other facilities are :

  • One stop services
  • Latest Medical Equipment’s
  • Specialist Physicians/surgeons
  • Computerized diagnosis.

 

MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE:

Lion A.Badal Eye Hospital, Goran governed by 11 (eleven) Members executive Committee operate and manage the overall activities of the Hospital where Ln.Mr.Amanullah Badal is the lifetime Chairman of the executive committee. Another 10 (ten) executive member are being selected from 5 (five) of each side.   For guiding the executive committee there is an advisory committee for the smooth running and making development strategy for the project. The executive committee will consult with the advisory committee if required.

 

Future planning :

  • To build up the awareness to the people to the thick populated area how to remove the  blindness.
  • To set up  sub-centre to the surrounding area of the city
  • To develop  a multidiscipline hospital in our own land.
  • To find our donor those who are interested to share with us to extend their hand with financial support  to remove the blindness from the society.
  • To buy Ambulance in order to make surgery carrying the poor cataract patients from the remote area where in the poor people are deprived from modern treatment.
